HISTORY

In 1784, full sail, the SUPERBE launched from the Brest's shipyards joins admiral Villaret de Joyeuse's fleet. It was a period of great fights against the English fleet where "L'AUDACIEUX", "LE FOUGUEUX", "LE PATRIOTE", "LE TEMERAIRE" won fame.

Three masts, two decks, an extreme maneuverability due to the know-how of his architect, the famous Jacques Noel Sane. Seven hundred men were necessary for the smooth running of the vessel, a great war machine with 74 guns which sunk under a storm in 1795. Weve brought it to life again at the scale of 1/150 with its maze of masts, sails and ropes, its winged bow shape and its naughty flag. A faithful masterpiece of art, beautiful as a sculpture, with a meter of length which will make the heart of history and sea lovers beat.

Note: Our craftsmen are always choose the color of wood to be consistence. However, the natural color of the wood use sometimes is not 100% exactly the same with the pictures.
