HISTORY

Voyager of the Seas, completed in 1999, is the first of five Voyager-class cruise ships from Royal Caribbean International. It can handle up to 3114 guests, and, along with its cousins in the Voyager class, is one of the largest passenger ships in the world; currently, only Cunard's Queen Mary 2 and Royal Caribbean International's Freedom of the Seas are larger. Constructed at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland, the ship measures 137,276 gross tons[1] on a 64,000 ton displacement.[2] It is 1020 feet long overall, has a waterline beam of 127 feet and a maximum width of 156 feet.

Voyager of the Seas Cruise Liner:

The Voyager of the Seas is truly a remarkable ship in the entire fleet of the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. The ship is huge measuring 1, 020 feet in length. The passenger capacity of the ship is 3, 114. The rooms are highly spacious and are fitted with all the modern facilities that one can think of. The Deluxe Suites have private balconies baby grand piano and whirlpool tubs. The Ocean View Cabins, Balcony Cabins and the Interior Staterooms have all the features of standard cabins of the same type. The ship has an Ice-Skating Rink, Golf Simulators, Portofino Italian Restaurant and casinos.

The on board amenities are simply amazing. The rooms have color television sets and private safes. The ship has a conference room fitted with projectors, color touch screens and other facilities. The Deluxe Suite provides the guests with a complimentary Concierge Service also. Try out the Shipshape Spa for that relaxing body massage. Johnny Rockets 50's style Restaurant offers a unique dining experience. The other amenities include lavish lounges, discos, bars and cafes.

Voyager of the Seas Cruise Activities:

There are a number of activities you can participate in to keep yourself engaged. Golf lovers can practice their shots in the 9-hole miniature Golf course. You can also play in the full-sized Basketball Court. Or skate in the In-Line Skating Track . You can watch movies and theatres in the lounges or read books in the library. The dinner and dance parties are the perfect way to spend a romantic evening with your beloved. The children can enjoy themselves in the children's playroom.
